great coffee August 17, 2008 j hougelman (pennsylvania) I bought this to try in my espresso machine at my restaurant. While the espresso i was using did fine for the milky cappucino and latte drinks, this coffee was noticably superior in my fav drink, a shot of espresso, and a 1/2 $ 1/2 creamer. So if you do shots, or are not happy with your current brand, i'd recommend giving this one a shot.. Wait til they rn a special though (which seems to be often) for a nice savings.
As always Lavazza is fantastic!!!! July 15, 2008 Julianw (Florida) It never let me down, I bought to brew and use at work and is delicious!!!!
This Was OK July 3, 2008 Eric Ruck (Ellicott City, MD USA) But maybe a little disappointing. Frankly I got better crema and aroma from "Super Crema" and "Pienaroma" beans, to which I'll probably go back. The flavor is pretty mild. I'm using the beans in a Rancilio Rocky grinder and Silvia espresso machine.
Lavazza Crema e Aroma Coffee June 30, 2008 L. Darcy I really enjoy this expresso coffee, it is always smooth, never bitter or over roasted to taste burned. It makes a wonderful cappucino, with a frothy head, it has a nice frothy head in just a plain cup of espresso. I highly recommend it and have ordered it a few times. It is also a great price.
Pretty Good Cuppa Joe June 20, 2008 J. Jones (Naples, NY) These are good - but not great - coffee beans. I like a bit of a "bite" from my coffee, and prefer a really good French Roast - of which many are not "really good." Starbucks French Roast is one of the most consistent, but even their outrageously high-priced blend has disappointed me of late. The Lavazza is a more mellow blend, which I find drinkable but without that morning "slap in the face" you get from a heartier roast. Does that make sense?
