A good, solid organic coffee. I'm seriously thinking of using this as a base and throwing in a small number of spicier/darker beans to obtain the brew that I'm looking for.

Have been using this bean to make the morning mocha's for about 6 months, its a good quality bean. Makes a nice dark flavorful espresso with good crema. Highly recommended.

Yankee Fan (Slower Lower Delaware)
Probably would have been better if fresher. No "head" at all in my French Press. Not much flavor indicating it sat on a shelf too long.
With coffee, fresh is the key word. For the freshest coffee and very good prices I recommend Coffee Bean Direct.
Weak - no flavor February 18, 2008

I bought the French Roast, which was excellent, and this one, which I found to be weak and watery. There was no flavor to it. Would not buy again.

If you are looking for robust flavor and a darker roast this is not the one.
Beans seem a little dry and maybe a bit old.
