iced coffee September 2, 2008 frances plummer (tarpon springs fl) N.O. BrewTM - Traditional 64 oz. New Orleans Style, Fresh Cold-Dripped Iced Coffee The coffe is good, but I would have liked to see the ratio broke down better. It state 1 to 2 parts, but i would have liked to see it in ounces. good with milk or water.
Not quite like home brewed, but very good for the price. August 4, 2008 lighten_up_already2 (Kirkland, WA USA) I've made my own iced coffee in the fridge the overnight way, and that was likely the best iced coffee I've ever had, but this stuff isn't bad. The only problem I had with it was when I followed the directions of two parts water to one part of concentrate, which came out very bitter to me, so I just diluted it until it tasted right, and I must say it tastes pretty good. I find this stuff to be a perfectly acceptable substitute for an iced latte, and considering I can get it from the fridge, and that there's about sixteen latte substitutes in here, it's a good deal even with shipping. I think I'll be buying more of this, especially now that Starbucks has discontinued it's iced coffee beverage in the tall skinny cans. I'll miss that beverage, but this NO Brew really helps to fill the void left by Iced Starbucks Coffee, and I haven't yet experimented with enhancing it with any kind of cream, milk, or sweetener.
Not like homemade August 3, 2008 Jb Silberman (VA, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Sure this No Brew is convenient, but it's not like the no-brew coffee you make yourself. Just take 1 pound of ground coffee add about 10 cups of cold water cover leave on counter overnite. In the am sieve the coffee maybe twice. Put the coffee "liqueur" in the fridge . Add milk or soy milk or...to the delicious brew you have made and ENJOY!
Smooooth and sweet February 12, 2008 Torym (florida) This is great coffee. It has spoiled me. I'll never stand in line to pay high prices for bitter brews ever again. It is also great drizzled over vanilla ice cream, or as an ingredient in brownies, ganache/icing, and a mocha smoothie. Rarely is something BETTER than what we're used to and LESS EXPENSIVE too. Hooray for a great product.
A tall cool drink July 30, 2007 arod (rhinebeck NY) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
A hot summer day on the veranda and there is nothing better than a tall, N.O. brew iced coffee and a good cigar. I do find that a touch of vodka does enliven the drink. I now drink it morning, noon and night.
