driving right past starbucks now! August 27, 2008 K. Winslow (Seattle) okay, these are not quite like a starbucks frappachino. they don't cost anywhere near $5.00 for a 24-ounce cup! flavorwise, you can make them as plain or as dessert-like as you wish. one stick made with just ice and water will be granita-like, sort of just a coffee/latte slush. made with ice and milk, it is richer and creamier. but with a little more creativity, you can make it taste just like a frappachino, except not so airy -- this is a real drink, not a bunch of over-priced air bubbles. for a milkshake, make it with ice cream and milk. i get creative each day and add a little chocolate syrup, plus a shot of some other flavoring such as hazelnut or crumbled oreos or whatever. hint: girl scout mint cookies are a truly great addition to the basic french vanilla flavor. you may enjoy them just as per package directions, but really, the drinks you can create are as thick and satisfying as you wish to make them! i stick with just ice and water, rather than milk, so that i can add any additional flavors i choose without running up the calorie/fat count. best of all, even after i spruce them up with whatever suits me each day, i figure they cost less than $1.00 per 24-ounce cup. no grocery store in the seattle area seems to carry these, so please, amazon, keep them in stock!!
How to Drink Milk August 1, 2008 Dianeonline (Maryland) I love this stuff and drink it before a workout so I can my milk and some extra calcium.
Cap coolers, our favs July 20, 2008 Lisa L. Johansen My family loves these coolers and it was great to find them online. None of the stores in town sell them, so this has come as a convenience to us. Thanks.
Cappucino Coolers June 30, 2008 T. Enriquez This product is perfect for summertime! Great tasting and gives you a reason to drink milk. I'm a big coffee fan and using the cappucino coolers also saves money because I don't have to go to Starbucks and pay $3-4 per cup. The only thing is that you can't find this product in the stores anymore but I was able to find it here on Amazon. Thanks for saving me money!
Nice cool drink - but not like Frappucino June 25, 2008 A. Hinton I love cappucino and in the summer frappucino. Based on the reviews I read here, I was tempted into trying these because they were much less expensive than Frappucino. they do NOT, however, taste the same or anything like it. These have a much stronger coffee taste. They would do in a coffee fix crunch - but I didn't find them to be anything I'd buy again.
