This is coffee! December 2, 2008 R. Robinson Although the name sounds like maybe hot chocolate, this is flavored coffee! I bought this for my wife who loves tea and hot chocolate-- I am a hardcore coffee drinker. I like "real" coffee! None of the girlie-frappa-whatever stuff for me! So, I will occasionally drink it because it is around the house, but...yuk!
Great flavor August 22, 2008 June (Pennsylvania) Gloria Jean's K-cup Swiss chocolate almond is a great choc/nut flavored coffee. I'm a fan of flavored coffees and this one is one of the best.
Smells good, tastes like plain coffee July 10, 2008 belacane (Sammamish, WA USA) Over the years I've gotten a bit lazy about coffee-drinking and sometimes I end up drinking it well after it's gotten cold. This particular flavor makes the whole kitchen smell good when it's brewing, but within 15 minutes there's no scent at all. Perhaps this is a drawback of the K-cups, because I've had Swiss chocolate almond coffee in bean form before, where the flavor really sticks with it.
I love this flavour May 18, 2008 Doc Jess (Main Line, PA USA) I love my Keurig, and I've tried a lot of different flavours, and so far, this is my very very very favourite. I love that it's mild, but full bodied, with just a hint of almond taste. It doesn't really taste chocolately to me.
Less flavor that I'd hoped for... February 26, 2008 *Auntie Lynn* (The Texas Panhandle, where dirt is the color of rusted iron) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Of all the Gloria Jean k-cups, this is the most disappointing. Not only is there not enough chocolate or almond flavor in the cup -- there's not even enough coffee flavor. Too thin, too weak, and with absolutely no punch at all, even when prepared on the shortest (5.5oz) setting.
