I love ginger flavored coffee. This coffee while the blend of coffee flavor is good, it lacks any ginger/ginger snap flavor. I was expecting the coffee to taste like I had dunked my Ginger Snap Cookie in it .
I have purchased other Ginger flavored coffee and can taste the ginger in them. This one is a very weak ginger flavor. I did try, 12 cups of this coffee over a weeks time to make sure it was not just my taster and that is was the coffee flavor.
I would say to only buy this coffee when it is on sale at a very good price.

When my children were little they really wanted to try coffee so I made them decaf with milk and sweetener and gave the ginger snaps to dip in it. This because a breakfast favorite and now, when they come home to visit, I have a bowl of ginger snaps on the table waiting for them to dip in their coffee. When I saw this flavor offered from Gloria Jean's I just had to try it to see if it was even close to the dipped cookie my family loves so much.
The coffee is a little on the weak side but definitely makes you think of ginger snaps as you drink it. If you have one of the high end brewers that make different size cups of coffee, I would brew this one a little stronger. The coffee itself is mild and not bitter nor acidic. I recommend it as an after dinner treat with a little cream and lightly sweetened.
