A great way to try! November 9, 2008 ACP (Phoenix, AZ USA) I'm very impressed with Coffee People! The coffee is great, not overly strong nor too weak. My favorite in this pack was the Kafe Lua & will definitely order again. A nice aroma with just the right amount of flavor. The Vanila Avalanche is also a hit. Not a overpowering vanila taste...just perfect. I admit that I had reservations about the Berry Blast, however after one sip, it too was a winner. The only one that I can live without (after two attempts) is the Chai. I don't care for Chai tea, so it really wasn't a huge surprise that Chai coffee didn't really cut it for me either. All in all though...it was a great purchase. A great way to sample different varieties of Coffee People coffees.
Pleasant surprise October 26, 2008 T. Harris (Bronx, NY United States) In fairness to this product, and unlike the other reviews, I am reviewing this coffee as I believe someone who enjoys flavored coffees would. I inadvertantly ordered this flavored variety box (meant to get the non-flavored variety). Rather than send it back, I tried it and was pleasantly surprised. I'm not a big fan of flavored coffees and rarely drink them; however, Timothy's could change my mind. With the exception of the Chai Coffe, each flavor has a subtantial coffee base - not the typical wimpy coffee with too-strong artificial flavor. The berry blast was quite surprising-delicious true berry flavor that really suits the coffee. Contrary to its name, the vanilla avalanche does not overwhelm, and is truly nicely balanced. The kafe-lua is a delicious indulgence without the calories (or the alcohol).
didn't realize I was getting "flavored" coffee October 19, 2008 a foodie named (Grand Rapids, MI USA) The product description, which I thought I had read thoroughly, did not detail the varieties included. I thought I would be getting a variety of Coffee People's Extra Bold coffees like Black Tiger, Organic, etc. Instead, when I opened the package I was surprised to find Chai Coffee, Berry Blast, KafeLua and Vanilla Avalance. Ick. We are not flavored coffee people in our house, but the flavors go over well with visitors. Chai Coffee is good, KafeLua (Kahlua) is good, but Berry Blast & Vanilla Avalance are just gross. Sorry, Coffee People. More details in the product descriptions, please, Amazon.com.
Great Variety, Bad Aftertaste October 15, 2008 T. Ross (San Diego, CA United States) I thought this variety looked great. I tried the Vanilla and the Berry both had a bad aftertaste, yuck. I have tried Coffee People coffee that was not flavored in the past and loved it.
Nice variety October 15, 2008 Neil L. Cohen Three of the flavors are great. The Berry Blast is a little too sweet, but not bad. I wasnt expecting it to be so sweet, so I need to put less sweetener in. Otherwise, it is good.
