I was disappointed with this stuff. First, my 'Pack of 3' arrived on Sept 17, and all 3 packs are marked with an expiration date of Oct 7 2008. That gives me what - 20 days to drink 48 coffees? I'm 2 a day max. And even if I could drink it all the point is that this stuff is old and it tastes like it. The strong 'acrid' and 'bitter' tastes that some of the other reviews describe - that's because it's old. This is more like concentrated bad coffee than anything. On the upside, that means I almost don't have a choice about eating a donut with my coffee to cover up the taste.
Oh and I was mislead about the size - '5oz' on the package means weight of the coffee in the disc, not volume of coffee produced, which is over 6oz. Still watery.
**disclaimer - I regularly drink espresso, and I live in Seattle, where in general the espresso is really friggin good.

I love this Tassimo beverage. It does make a smaller cup than traditional Tassimo coffee dicsc, but I think the taste is great and the value is better because you receive more cups of coffee for less of a price. The taste to me would be considered almost a dark chocolate taste. Very dark. Delicious at any time of day. I usually start and end my day with one of these. The only reason for 4, not 5 stars is the smaller cup size...I wish you could get all tassimo products for this price.

Excellent coffee.Pretty strong to dring it for breakfast so what I do is just add more water from the Tassimo system.

great cup of coffee, i drink it black and straight from the tassimo. this pod makes for a small cup, about half, and is perfectly brewed in my tassimo.

I purchased three hardback books and added this coffee to the order because it was indicated I would get free shipping. The coffee was decent, but not as good as Starbucks or Gevalia. Most upsetting was the shipping charge. I was charged $8.00 in postage, making the coffee overpriced. My comment to Amazon was not replied to, making the likelihood of further purchases pretty slim.
Tassimo coffee can be purchased at Bed Bath and Beyond as well as Target. Save the shipping and the prices are as good, if not better, than Amazon.
