Love it! November 16, 2008 Brenda Hines (Valparaiso, IN United States) I haven't found a coffee from the coffee people that I don't love. Great especially for that afternoon zap!
A variety pack suited well for a variety of tastes... November 4, 2008 PJG (Anaheim, CA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I've had my Keurig Special Edition for over a year now- and with all the flavor varieties of K-Cups on the market- trying a flavor "50 K-Cups at a time" is great when you love the taste. However, if you end up NOT liking said flavor, well...it's just not fun to get saddled with 50 K-Cups of a flavor that makes you want to crawl back into bed till you recuperate from the experience. Hence, variety packs are a great way to try several flavors at once- and I am glad that Amazon FINALLY carries specifically an "Extra Bold" flavor variety pack. I hope more are to follow! I find I seem to prefer Coffee People products in general over competing brands. This product is no exception- and while not everyone will be a fan of every flavor, there's something for everyone in it. If you prefer your coffee black, I believe Vanilla Avalanche is the safe choice. Add Vanilla Creamer and you approach vanilla overload- but some like that. The other flavors for me require creamer (personally I like Sugar-Free French Vanilla Coffee-Mate or the new Silk Soy Creamer) and then add a little sugar or Splenda to taste. Berry Blast does as some have mentioned, have a bit of an odd "off-taste" to it, but nonetheless I've had some friends crave a cup when they visit. The bottom line is that I've found it to be a great variety to have on hand to suit a wide variety of tastes (thus 5 stars) at a very reasonable Amazon price.
Variety pack November 1, 2008 Coffee addict (NJ) The coffee is all tasty but I was disappointed to find that all of the Coffee People coffees weren't included. It was not a great variety (3 or 4 types) - but as I said earlier - all of the coffee is good.
Bold Coffee for a Fair Price! October 21, 2008 Danny (Arlington, VA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've been a Green Mountain Coffee fan for years, but when Amazon was out of stock... I decided to give Coffee People another try. I've had a few cups before that were included with my coffee maker, but none were of the bold variety. By far, my favorite of the bunch is Wake Up Call. It's bold without tasting like French Roast (which is also included and a good flavor, but I'm not always in the mood for it). The others that are included are Black Tiger, Coffee People Organic, and Decaf French Roast. Hope you enjoy it!
Some better than others October 17, 2008 A. G. Sinclair (Parkland, FL United States) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I did not know what varieties were in this package. It has Wake-Up Call, Black Tiger, French Roast, French Roast Decaf, and Organic Bold. In my opinion the French Roast is the best one. It is strong but not bitter and smells just the way I want coffee to smell. None of them are bad, but I wouldn't by the others by themselves. I was hoping that some of the other highly rated Coffee People Bold varieties would be included like Donut Shop Coffee and Jet Fuel. I will try them next. The other CP Bold variety pack has "flavored" bold coffees and I am not a big fan or flavored coffee. I prefer to brew a great cup of strong coffee and flavor it myself if the mood strikes me. I was told at Starbucks that coffee sold flavored has usually had some type of error in it's roasting process. In my experience flavored coffee tends to be weak, especially in K-cups. Even on the smallest cup setting I can not get the coffee to taste strong enough. I also get sick of 50 cups of them same flavor! I hope this was helpful.
