Product Description 26 year-old Heaven Albright is a failed PR-executive turned terrible waitress who hates her customers. 29-year old Brady Gilbert is a struggling independent music producer with no bands. But he does have dreams of striking it rich with his product idea, 'Cinnamilk' - the delicious beverage that results from leaving cinnamon-flavoured cereal in the bowl too long. What do these people have in common? Not much - in fact, as neighbours in Manhattan, the two of them start out hating each other. Perhaps it's because Heaven has this annoying habit of opening Brady's mail, or walking into his apartment uninvited, or stealing his Victoria Secret catalogues. But when Heaven comes to Brady's rescue after an encounter with his psycho ex-girlfriend, the tide turns, and Brady and Heaven soon become an unlikely pair of friends. With Heaven's dog Strummer, the two go to Los Angeles, then Seattle, and home again on their quest to pitch Cinnamilk to Howard Schultz, the founder of Starbucks.

Quirky and breezy read November 11, 2008 Dawn R. Bowen (Tucson, AZ USA) This is one of those books that is easy to read in one session. The format of having one chapter from Heaven's perspective, then one chapter from Brady's perspective is effective in keeping things interesting and moving the story along. I loved that both of the main characters did not fit into the typical chick lit cookie-cutter mold. Between the format of the book and the characters themselves, this book stands out from other books in the same genre.
Crisp, clever, fantastic September 13, 2008 Bookaholic I loved the format, I loved the pace, and the characters were fantastic. I want this to be a movie so I can watch it over and over again!
Can't wait for her next book August 31, 2008 Hindel Moskovits (Brooklyn,NY) This was the funniest book I ever read. I was sad when I finished reading it , I can't wait for her next book. I lent this book to my sister and she finished reading it before she left my house. Then I lend it to my friend who lent it to her friend. I doubt i'll ever see it again.
i think i may actually be swooning over a book August 4, 2008 Penny Mccleave i loved this book. loved it. i felt like the book was made for me, i felt like it totally got me and my brain - and it made me want to live in new york. it made me laugh so hard that i had to put it down for a moment to recover. it was quirky and sarcastic, brilliant and hilarious, silly and touching. i loved the two main characters and their developing dynamic together. i enjoyed the style, switching between first persons. and i've never laughed so hard while reading a book. the end. buy it! read it! love it! i demand it.
Simply entertaining August 2, 2008 Micaela Purcell (Portsmouth, NH USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I did things a little backwards and discovered Stupid and Contagious after reading Caprice's Forget about it. I had high expectations after that book and Caprice blew them out of the water with S & C. I love how she can take the simplistic, everyday occurrences of these two wacky characters and make it impossible to put the book down. She must have some wacky friends to come up with the characters, Heaven and Brady! I laughed out loud constantly in this book. Caprice does a great job at writing about current pop culture. You will definitely find yourself smiling and nodding in agreement to several of Heaven and Brady's experiences and challenges. Great read!
